Horror Dadz Productions has released the first official trailer and promotional stills for No Witnesses, an independent found-footage horror film about the disappearance of Hannah Jones. The footage offers an early look at the film’s central character, its rural setting and the circumstances surrounding the discovery of recordings she captured.
According to Horror Society, No Witnesses follows the fictional case of Jones, who vanished in rural Illinois on August 4, 2024. The story states that an extensive ground search and interviews with her friends and family failed to locate her. Officials are left without leads, suspects, incriminating evidence or witnesses.
The film was shot in rural Watseka, Illinois, with a farmhouse serving as the primary setting. Its found-footage structure is designed to present the story as material discovered after the events rather than as a conventional horror film. The newly released trailer introduces Hannah and establishes the increasingly unsettling situation surrounding her disappearance, while the stills provide the first promotional images from the production.
Berkeley Slightom stars in the film alongside Hunter Nino and Otis B. Dreds, both of whom are identified as Horror Dadz Productions alumni. Joshua Brucker directed No Witnesses and described the project as coming from a personal and dark place. He said the story follows a character who, like him, has faced significant adversity, though Hannah ultimately trades one danger for another.
Brucker also said the filmmakers wanted to preserve the qualities that make found footage effective, particularly the feeling that viewers have encountered something they were not meant to see. The production describes the format as contributing to an unpredictable and chaotic experience.
No Witnesses does not yet have a reported release date. Horror Dadz Productions is still seeking distribution opportunities for the film, leaving its eventual release platform and availability undetermined.
