Dark Hollow is now available in select theaters and on VOD from Brainstorm Media, according to Rue Morgue, which also published an exclusive clip from the film on September 4, 2026. Written and directed by Daniel Byers, the movie centers on a young mother facing a creature that emerges from the depths of an Appalachian coal mine. She must track down the monster in an effort to protect her home and save her family. June Shreiner leads the cast, which also includes David Garelik, J. Stephen Brantley, Brennon Weese, Ian Deighan, Jonathan Spivey, Sean Michael Wilkinson, Sharon Murray, Harvey Roberts, Brian O’Neill, Annie Cook and Radu Spinghel.
